Also you can connect your sales order with your other apps in Workiom, such as Inventory Management, CRM, Task Management, Accounting, Purchase Orders etc.

The options to streamline your order workflows are endless, start with this basic Sales Order Tracking template and start thinking about the workflows/details you can add to it.

This template has 4 lists:

  • Sales Orders: This list is where you can see the details of each order and track the status of the orders. The Id of each sales order record is a number field where you can either add your existing order IDs or you can start from zero. You can add Sales Date and Fulfillment dates, which can help you create performance reports later. Invoice Address is a lookup field that directly get the client's invoice address when you choose the client that put this order. Add the invoice pdf file to each order to easily access it when needed. In order to add the details of the orders we need to create Order Item records for each product in the order.
  • Order Items: We suggest to add Order Items whenever you are creating the Sales Order record. You can add items without leaving the Sales Order record page by clicking on 'Create' just next to Order Item field. Select the product, add the quantity and add the order price per item (it may be different from the current/catalog price). The total price will be calculated automatically by multiplying the order price and quantity.
  • Products: The list of the products you are selling with the details like description, current price, photo.. You can add more details and product varieties for your products by clicking on 'New Field'.
  • Clients: The list of your clients with details like invoice address and contact information. Again you can create new fields for more details.

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
